WIDE BAND RECEIVING TUNER

PURPOSE:To make a wide band receiving possible without a VHF tuner, by receiving VHF and CATV channels by a VHF.UHF tuner and by receiving the output by a UHF tuner. CONSTITUTION:The signal from an input terminal 16 of VHF (low and high) and CATV (mid, superhigh, and hyper) channels is received by a VHF.CATV tuner receiving part 18. The output is switched together with a UHF signal by a switching circuit 19 and is converted to a standard intermediate frequency signal by a UHF tuner 20 and is taken out from an IF signal output terminal 21. Thus, a wide band tuner with a simple constitution is obtained without requiring the conventional tuner for VHF.
