<p>PURPOSE:To prevent a scatter of an image at a guide member which receives an image supporting material from a carriage belt, by providing a discharging device, such as a corona discharge, between a carrying means and a fixing part. CONSTITUTION:A toner image on a photosensitive drum 17 is transferred to paper 3 and then carried electrically on the paper 3 as an unifixed image; and the paper 3 is carried in close contact with a carriage belt 15 by positive charge 5 on the reverse surface of the paper, received by a fixed plate-like guide member 2, and guided to a fixing part 1. Between the belt 15 and guide member 2, a corona discharge 18 is provided to remove unnecessary positive charge from the reverse surface of the paper 3 an electric field produced by the corona discharger 18 when the paper 3 passes on the corona discharger 18. During the discharging, no disorder of the image occurs while any influence upon the toner image is exerted.</p> |
