PURPOSE:To increase a recording speed by rapidly discharging the equivalent capacitor of a recording head and the collector capacitor of a driving transistor (TR), by adding diodes as many as electrostatic recording head driving circuits, and less discharging switching elements. CONSTITUTION:A multistylus-electrode driving circuit consisting of N TRs Q1-1- Q1-n, collector resistances R1-1-R1-n, and equivalent capacitors C3-1-C3-n generates a discharge signal at a prescribed time an accumulation time after a drive signal is ceased, thereby applying it the base of a TRQ4. Then, the discharging of the capacitors C3-1 and C3-n is started and then the TRQ4 turns off right after that to turn on a TRQ3, thereby performing the discharging rapidly through the collector and emitter of the TRQ3. As a result, the timing where the drive signals are supplied to other N driving circuits is speeded, so a recording speed is increased. |
