PURPOSE:To decrease a load applied to a worm shaft and increase controllability of a tilt table, by driving the tilt table with an oil hydraulic servo mechanism controlled through a servo control valve connected to a worm power transmission device. CONSTITUTION:A tilt table 1 is rotatably supported by bearings to a base through ear shafts 2 formed in lower both sides of the table. A worm wheel 4 formed with an arm 8 is movably fitted to one of the ear shafts 2 and meshed with a worm shaft bearing supported by the tilt table 1. A cylinder 41 driving the tilt table 1 is provided in the base. If the worm shaft 6 is rotated, the arm 8 is rocked to longitudinally move a stylus 51 of an oil hydraulic servo control valve 50 provided in the base and control the feed of pressure oil to an oil chamber of the cylinder 41, thus drive the tilt table in proportion to a rotary angle of the worm shaft 6. |
