PURPOSE:To offer an indexing table control device which can sense certainly malfunction in a unit distance code system owing to absence of signal and the like without using the malfunction sensing system of the strobe signal system. CONSTITUTION:The number of unit angular positions which an intermittent rotor 12 has passed through is determined by a counter 23 by entering the output signals from the limit switch group 16 belonging to a code plate 15 into flip-flop circuit 19. Then the output signals from the limit switch group 16 are entered into a code converter circuit 17 to determine the angular position of the intermittent rotor. The content of counter and the actual angular position of rotor 12 are put in mutual correspondence every moment, and the content of the counter 23 is compared with the number (T command) representing the intermittent rotor's stop angular position given by an NC device 11, and thereby it is detected if the intermittent rotor has stoped at the correct angular position. Thus, malfunction in indexing can be found easily and securely. |
