PURPOSE:To facilitate grinding/abrasion work on an internal face with complicated configuration, a bore or a burred surface, etc. and to shorten the time required for this work by using an abrasive material containing abrasive grains having deformability, flexibility and appropriate wear resistance, elasticity and strength. CONSTITUTION:An abrasive material 13 is set through an inlet 2 in the direction shown by 10. This material 13 is crushed in a gap 3 in the workpiece 1, deformed and moved to the right by and by while applying expansive pressure to the walls of the gap. The workpiece is processed as abrasive grains in the abrasive material 13 make abrasion of the surfaces 9, 19 of the gap. A globular material of a means diameter of 0.6mm.phi with urethane elastmer as the base containing evenly grains of B4C+WC is preferable for the abrasive material. |
