PURPOSE:To improve deterioration of resolution and prevent color stain, by setting the band filter which executes the separation of luminance signal and chroma signal components of luminance signal. CONSTITUTION:The 2nd color demodulation circuit B takes chroma signal out by the broad-band filter 8 which amplifies the band of composite image signal A, and forms higher harmonic components of signal I by using this signal. This chroma signal is demodulated by demodulation circuit 10 of signal I and is passed through narrow-band filter 11. By performing the above operation, circuit B demodulates the higher component of signal I to obtain higher color difference signal. These higher color difference signals are mixed 6 with each color difference signal obtained by color demodulation circuit 2 and LPF3-4 and outputted to color cathode-ray tube 7. Consequently, signal I can be demodulated in broad-band. |
