The take-off shafts from a gearbox are joined to the rolls in a rolling stand by spindles, provided with an axle, whose ends are configured with universal joints. The tilting angle of the axles of the spindles are equal for all joints of the spindles. The take-off shafts of the gearbox have centre lines situated at equal distance from the rolling axis. A formula has been produced for determining the spatial angle relation between the gearbox and the rolling stand, i.e., the angle of inclination for the plane passing through the centre lines of the axes of rotation of the take-off shafts and through the geometrical centre line of the gearbox relative to the plane passing through the rolling axis and the axis for the variable rolling angle. <IMAGE> |
