PURPOSE:To enable the measurement of the heat current direction as angle thereof by determining difference between output signals from individual temperature measuring sections of at least a pair of thermosensors buried into a substrate set in contact with the material. CONSTITUTION:A pair of thermosensors 2 and 2' and 3 and 3' are buried into a substrate 1 made of glass or the like and exposed to allow temperature measuring sections a, b, c and d such as thermocouples formed at the tip thereof to contact the surface 4 of material to be measured. The temperature measuring sections are connected in polarity opposite to each other to form a measuring section 8. When a heat current exists in the material 4 as indicated by the arrow, a temperature differential output signal of Vac changes in Vcostheta and a temperature differential output signal of Vbd in Vsintheta. The measurement thereof gives an angle theta of the heat current. This enables measurement of the direction of heat current as angle thereby accurately and easily. |
