PURPOSE:To drive a rotating magnetic head with low voltage and low power consumption and with low cost and high reliability, by supporting the head via an elastic substance of high permeability, absorbing the body through an electromagnetic coil and correcting the position of the head. CONSTITUTION:When power is applied to electromagnetic coils 14, 15, attracting force is produced between yokes 12, 13 and high permeability members 16, 17 (or, elastic plates 18, 19 made of high permeability member) and the plates 18, 19 go upward. Thus, operating heads 1, 2 fitted at the tip of elastic plates 3, 4 go upward. In this case, the reference current is given to the current in the electromagnetic coil and the current is increased or decreased, allowing to control the displacement upward or downward from the reference position. Thus, the head can be driven with low voltage and power consumption and with low cost and high reliability. |
