Compounds of the general formula [wherein X represents the 1,2,5,6- tetrahydro-2-methyl-5,6-dioxo-as- triazin-3-yl group, the 2,5-dihydro-6- hydroxy-2-methyl-5-oxo-as-triazin-3- yl group of the 1,4,5,6-tetrahydro-4- methyl-5,6-dioxo-as-triazin-3-yl group] and readily hydrolysable esters, readily hydrolysable ethers and salts thereof and hydrates of these compounds have broad-spectrum anti-bacterial activity.
