PURPOSE:Not to charge an original and a belt with electricity even if they rub against the original glass surface continuously, by coating a electroconductive substance having a good light transmitting property onto the surface of the original surface side of an original setting glass, making it a conductive surface, and grounding this conductive surface to the device body. CONSTITUTION:A surface 13e of the original surface side of an original setting glass 13 is vapor-deposited with indium oxide which is a conductive substance. When its transmission coeff. is made >=85%, no fog is generated at all. Such a vapor-deposited surface 13a is grounded between itself an a housing 12 of this device. In case when it is not grounded, only a small effect is observed, comparing with the case of non-vapor-deposition, but when it is grounded, the charging phenomenon is prevented, no bend of an original nor jam is generated even if the original or the belt rubs against the original glass surface continuously. |
