PURPOSE:To exclude the complicated work such as exchanging liquid under forming, removing a knotted line, etc. together with decreasing the forming quantity of electricity, by lowering the specific gravity of supplementary electrolyte through two steps from high level to niddle level, when additional electrolyte is supplied. CONSTITUTION:An electrolyte of low specific gravity (1.050-1.450) is supplied to a lead battery assembled with unformed electrode plates. Then, after de-liquid by upsetting, the specific gravity of supplementary electrolyte is lowered through two steps from the high specific grabity of electrolyte (1.450-1.600) to the middle one of it (1.300-1.450) during exchange of liquid in order to obtain the assigned electrolyte after formation. By this way, the specific gravity of electrolyte above and below the electrode plate group can be almost unformalized. |
