PURPOSE:To increase the usage efficiency through the possibility of consecutive patterns and number of times as information, by performing consecutive pattern display to a magnetic recording medium through the use of a specified format. CONSTITUTION:A special recording section 21 is processed for DC erasion or double frequency write-in, All ''1'' pattern is taken for example, to display in a special pattern display section 22 that no failure is present in the section 21. A pattern display section 23 can be displayed with the pattern display such as 0: (consecutive all ''0''), 1: (consecutive all ''1''), 2: (consecutive space code), 3-F: (to decide the patern with codes which are frequently used). A counter display section 24 writes in the number of pattern consecutive times. Since the consectutive pattern and consecutive number of times can be given as information by making consecutive pattern display for a magnetic recording medium through the use of format, it is not re quired to use the recording medium for the number of consecutive pattern times, allowing to increase the usage efficiency. |
