PURPOSE:To enable easy adjustment of a gap between a magnetic resistance element and a part to be detected to be of a prescribed value, by providing a slider on the outer periphery of a hub in which the part to be detected, consisting of gears, is incorporated integrally and by fitting the magnetic resistance element to the slider. CONSTITUTION:The outer periphery A of the hub 2 in which the gear 3 is fixed in a prescribed manner is formed to have a circumference which is concentric with the tooth diameter of the gear 3. The magnetic resistance element 8 is fitted to the slider 15 sliding on the outer periphery A of the hub 2, in such a manner that it faces the teeth of the gear 3 with a prescribed gap g between them. Accordingly, when the hub 2 and the gear 3 are rotated integrally by the rotation of a motor shaft 1, the teeth of the gear 3 and the magnetic resistance element 8 continue to hold the gap g constantly between them. |
