<p>NEW MATERIAL:1-Carbamoxy-2-hydroxy-3-(1H-indol-4-yloxy)-propaneofformulaI. USE:Drug having muscle relaxing effect. PROCESS:The compound of formulaIis prepared by reacting 4-(1H-indol-4-yloxy)- methyl-ethylene carbonate of formula II with ammonia in a solvent such as ethanol pref. at or below the room temperature. Esp. the temperature is maintained at <=0 deg.C at the stage of adding the ammonia solution, and then the reaction is carried out at or below the room temperature.</p> |
