摘要 <p>PURPOSE:To remove nitrogen monoxide and others being generated, and to lengthen the service life of a catalyst, by a method wherein an exhaust pipe is branched into two, one of which a damper is arranged to, and a catalyst to another, and opening and closing of a damper is controlled in accordance with the state of combustion. CONSTITUTION:The fuel, supplied from an oil outlet 3, is sprayed, being atomized, by a cylindrical rotor 4. The air sucked from an air inlet 9 and the fuel atomized are mixed up together around the cylindrical rotor 4 and burnt. The exhaust gas is discharged out of a burner system, passing through a pipe 6a, to which a damper 7 is arranged, and a pipe 6b, to the inside of which a catalyst is provided. At the starting and the finishing of the combusion, a damper 7 is closed for a predetermined time, and the exhaust gas flows to the exhaust pipe 6b, to which a catalyst is provided. In the stabled state of combustion, a damper 7 is opened and most of the exhaust gas is discharged through an exhaust pipe 6a on the side of a damper, where the resistance against the pipe is small. The harmful gas is discharged, mostly separated into CO2 and H2O.</p>
