<p>PURPOSE:To make difference in a plurality of reaction BOD concentrations in an aeration vessel and to inhibit bulking, by arranging partition plates becoming larger in intervals from the front stage to the latter stage of the vessel. CONSTITUTION:A squeezing-out flow type aeration vessel 1 is divided with partition plates 2 in a manner such that the partition plates are located closer toward the front stage and later in intervals toward the latter stage. The partition plates are indicated as V1, V2...V6, V7 from one near an inflow opening. When waste water having a high sludge activity and containing organic substances having a relatively high decomposing speed is purified, the grade of BOD concentraton is formed at a part having a higher partition density on the front stage near the inflow opening for the waste water. When waste water having a low sludge activity and containing organic substances having a low decomposing speed is purified, or when the load of BOD or water amount is raised, the grade BOD concentration is formed at a part having a lowered partition density on the latter stage.</p> |
