PURPOSE:To prepare a container with buffering property suitable for, especially, a chicken egg container having net like see-through openings and capable of seeing through a content therein from the outside by a method wherein plural slits or pores are formed to a thermoplastic resin foamed sheet and the resultant sheet is preheated and, thereafter, molded into a container like form. CONSTITUTION:Slits or pores are formed to a foamed sheet of a thermoplastic resin (e.g.; PS) in a zigzag pattern. The resultant sheet is preheated and, thereafter, molded by a known sheet molding process such as a compression molding process, a vacuum molding process or the like and, at the same time, slits or pores are enlarged to obtain a container having net like see-through openings. Further, in forming slits or pores to the foamed sheet, by partially changing density of slits or pores or a length of the slits and a dimension of the pores corresponding to a shape of a finally molded container, see-through openings suitable for the shape of the container are pref. formed. |
