Occupier activated alarm system for use with coffin - includes switch operated by any movement of hand of occupier to trigger external alarm

The alarm system includes a switch mounted on the inside surface of the lid of the coffin. The switch comprises a plastic sachet enclosing a pair of separated contact plates and having an opening to ensure that the pressure inside the sachet equals that in the coffin itself. Wires connect the sensing switch via terminals to an alarm circuit including a warning light. The switch in the coffin is operated by a handle which is placed around the hand of the corpse, so that any movement will make the contacts close. The alarm circuit has electromagnetic relays serving as a memory so that two operations of the switch are necessary, so that disturbance of the coffin in transit does not trigger the alarm.
