<p>Ski trousers with multi-directional elasticity offer a high resistance to snow and wind, and adapt readily to the shape of the wearer. The lower part of the trouser leg has an extension fitted, lighter and more elastic than the rest of the garment, which passes under the wearer's foot in the form of a spat. This extension is sewn to the trousers above the ski-boots, and is covered by a gaiter or skirt for extra protection. Preferably, the extension covers the ankle and the arch of the foot, but leaves the heel and/or the toes free.</p> |
