PURPOSE:To improve in work efficiency of the process of assembling an ignition timing control unit as well as to make unnecessary thermal energy for heating a metal material, by hermetically and integrally incorporating a case and a metal body together with use of a bonding agent. CONSTITUTION:A case 11 has a plurality of bosses 23 which are formed on the lower surface thereof and which are forcedly fitted into holes 26 formed in a metal base 12 so as to secure the case 11 to the metal base 12. A recess 24 is formed in the surface of the case 11 around each boss 23, and four tapered ribs 25 are provided around the outer peripheral surface of each of the cylindrical boss 23. When the case 11 made of synthetic resin material is closely secured to the metal base 12 mounted with an ignition timing control circuit, the bosses 23 are pressingly fitted into holes 26 in the metal base 12 after a bonding agent is applied to the lower surface of case 11. |
