<p>The two halves of the hinge (1,4) pivot about the hinge pin (7), one part (1) being fixed to the vehicle door and the other (4) fixed to the vehicle coachwork. A tension spring (17) is held and guided on the door hinge part and has a support arm (18) and a load inducing arm (19), while a stop cam (22) is held on the other hinge part. The load inducing arm of the spring carried a stop wheel (20) which is toothed on its circumference and which can turn on the spring arm. When the door opens the stop wheel turns behind the stop cam to give a predetermined exact openinq.</p> |
