PURPOSE:To prevent corrosion of the inner wall of the fuel oil sump by forming dent portion in the fuel sump of a fuel injection pump, and open a fuel oil discharge port to the direction of the dent. CONSTITUTION:Plural number of plunger barrels 2 are arranged in a body 1 of the line type fuel oil injection pump. To about the middle of each barrel 2, a drain oil hole 5b is prepared to open radially to the fuel sump and discharge excess fuel by the up and downmovement of the plunger. To the inner wall of sump 8, bosses 17 and dent portions 18 are formed alternately and the oil discharge hole 5b is made to eject fuel inlined to the dent portion 18, to make large distance to the inner wall. |
