<p>The fan belt is manufactured from material with elastic properties so that it can be stretched over the gullies of the fan and the generator, alternator or air conditioning unit. This operation is carried out without the use of tools. The fan belt has a built-in pull cord which is non-elastic and able to be tightened and knotted to maintain the belt in place on the pullies. Once in place and adjusted, the length of loose covering is stripped of its protective film to expose an adhesive surface which stuck down over the knotted cord.</p> |
