The drawer contains a series of printed circuit boards removably connected to a series of connectors situated on the back wall of the drawer. Each of these connectors has a series of terminals to which external cable conductors are connected. The external cable conductors are directly connected to the connector terminals. The connector is fitted with a fixing device which has a locking position to attach the connector to the drawer back wall and an unlocking position to temporarily detach the connector from the drawer. This construction permits quick exchange of drawers and reduces the risk of mistakes when the connectors are reconnected.
