<p>A finishing press comprises top and bottom bucks, one being a metal base plate with electrical heating elements outwardly of its inner face, and a perforated face plate bounding with the base plate inner face an enclosed space with a water supply. The other buck is pref. similarly constructed to the first, and each heating element is on the outer face of the base plate. Water is pref. supplied via a number of spray nozzles, and may be supplied via an operator controlled valve or under control of a timer. The lower buck pref. has elements controlled to 150 deg.C while top back elements are set to a lower temp.</p> |
