The vehicle safety blind consists of a number of vertical laths which pivot between upper and lower rails fitted to the windscreen. A second pivot peg on the lower end of each lath slides in a slot in a sliding rail in front of and parallel to the lower rail so that as the sliding rail is moved sideways the angle of the laths can be adjusted. When the blind is fully open the driver has unrestricted vision while he is protected by the laths from the lights of traffic coming from an angle towards him. The further the blind is closed the narrower the angle becomes between the driver and the oncoming headlights. The blind can also be used as a sun blind during daytime.
