Labelling installation for objects of varying size - uses labels drawn from storage roll and applied with press-on stamp and pneumatic press-on cylinder

Objects of varying size are transported on a conveyor track and are temporarily stopped. A band drawn off a storage roll through a dispenser edge carries self adhesive labels with a press-on stamp located at the free end of a piston rod of a pneumatic press-on cylinder and adjustable against any object stopped on the conveyor band. The press-on cylinder is axially adjustable relative to a support frame connected to the conveyor track and opposite to the direction of forward movement of the press-on stamp. The change over control element is formed as a switch fitted on the support frame and actuated by the adjustable press-on stamp. The press-on stamp is supported during the labelling process on the object to be labelled during adjustment of the press-on cylinder.
