The mechanically or electronically controlled information or advertising supply installation is suitable for the outer wall of a building, with access to the contents on the inside of the building. It incorporates a viewing window (15) and a few continuously or intermittently moving tapes (12,13). The display is protected by a sun blind (11), immediately beneath which is a free-programmably controlled light pen (2) for head code information. The front panel also includes a coin slot (19) for an automatic vending machine, and may also have a sound signal unit (6). The goods are conveyed to the vending point by an endless chain drive powered by an electric motor and detached by rotating the goods through a 90 deg. angle.
