PURPOSE:To perform the confirmation of terminal side and actual data transmission automatically, without through the operator, by providing a detection means which detects the response signal such as audio from a terminal side at the check of terminal side confirmation. CONSTITUTION:A host computer 1 gives instruction to a facsimile response device 3 so that it calls to an arbitrary facsimile device. The response device 3 operates an automatic caller to ring a telephone set bell of a facsimile device 7. Thus, a reception side confirming device 6 transmits a receiver confirming signal recorded to the facsimile response device 3. As the result of check of the receiver confirming signal, the response device 3 collates a facsimile device number from the host computer 1 with the individual number at the reception side when the reception of facsimile is possible, and if they coincide, the device 3 requests the transmitted data to the host computer 1. Further, the device 3 forms message based on the transmitted data and transmits it to the facsimile 7. |
