<p>A machine for the preparation of animal feeding stuff includes a weighing device which is fed by a hammer mill and cuts off the outlets from the fodder component bunkers when a set desired weight has been reached. The outlets are also controlled in their passage area, i.e. when the hammer mill motor load rises, the area is reduced and the share, left in the hammer mill intake pipe for air, is increased. When the motor load drops, the reverse action is taken. This saves constant attention to the weight and leaves the operator free for other work. The automatic operation facilitates the use of low-cost electric off-peak current.</p> |
