<p>PURPOSE:To make it possible to detect a breakdown of a magnet securely by spreading a conductive material to be in a disconnection condition only when the magnet is broken, at the inside of a motor casing, and applying a voltage to the conductive member to detect the conductive condition thereof. CONSTITUTION:In a power steering motor 1, a magnet 11 to give a magnetic field to rotate an armature 14 is installed inside a motor case 10. And a rotary shaft 12 is supported rotatable by bearings B10 and B20 which are supported at the motor case 10, and the armature 14 wound with a coil is fixed at the rotary shaft 12. In such a motor 1, a conductive member 50 to detect the motor abnormality, consisting of a paint mixing copper powder, for example, is spread in a meandering form. And a voltage is applied to the both ends of the conductive member 50 to a decide the conductive condition, and an abnormality of the motor 1 is detected. When the abnormality is detected, the control of the motor 1 is stopped.</p> |
