PURPOSE:To increase the effect of shield and to prevent the deterioration of characteristics due to change in position of a receiver, by providing an inner shield extended from the shadow mask side to the neck side and an outer shield fitted with a deflection yoke having a side ridge superimposed on the ridge of the shild. CONSTITUTION:An inner shield 8 extended from a shadow mask 6 of a color CRT to a neck 4 is provided and an outer shield 9 having the ridge superimposed on the ridge of the shield 8 is provided. The outer shield 9 is fitted to the deflection yoke 5, the ends of the outer shield 9 and the shield 8 are overlapped to avoid the missing of magnetic shield. The effect of external magnetic field to an electron beam 2 is completely shielded to prevent the deterioration of viewerity due to the change in the diecton of the receiver. |
