PURPOSE:To utilize the features of optical data transmission, by using optical cables, an electrooptic converter and photoelectric converter in a crossover track, using electric contact only for the connections of car ends, and using optical cables for all transmission media. CONSTITUTION:A photoelectro converter 13 and an electrooptic converter 14 are directly coupled at connections CN1, CN2, CN3, CN4 provided at each end of cars 1, 2 and electric signals are transmitted at this part. Signal transmission is made by optical signals using optical cables 10 at other parts. Since the signals have directivity, a pair of opposite transmisssion lines A, B are provided. In Figure, 3-8 are controller and 9 is an optical multiplex transmitter. |
