PURPOSE:A proteinic biosynthetic accelerator, containing an aconitine alkaloid as an active constituent, and useful for accelerating the biosynthesis of proteins. CONSTITUTION:A proteinic biosynthetic accelerator containing one of aconitine alkaloid selected from the group consisting of mesacorntine, aconitine and hypaconitine or a mixture of two or more thereof. Experiments on the measurement of the amount incorporated of <3>H-leucine into hepatic proteins showed that the proteinic biosynthesis was significantly accelerated by the administration of an aconite root containing the mesaconitine, aconitine, hypaconitine or an aconitine alkaloid or a processed aconite root. The daily dose at the proteinic biosynthetic accelerator is 0.1g aconite root powder, 10g processed aconite powder, 0.12mg mesaconitine, 0.15mg aconitine and 0.45mg hypaconitine for an adult by the oral administration. |
