The invention relates to a dental articulator in which the support table for the anterior tooth guide pin is located on the upper part of the frame and the adjustable anterior tooth guide pin is located on the lower part of the frame. The plate of the support table is preferably divided into two regions, one of these regions (the one which guarantees centrical support) remaining unchangeably in the horizontal position, whereas the other region (on which the excursions of the anterior tooth guide pin extend) can be pivoted forwards and downwards to the transverse axis of the articulator and can be fixed in any desired inclined position. Furthermore, the support table is preferably arranged so as to be rotatable in the plane of its basic surface in order to facilitate determination of the progression of the guide surfaces of the different teeth during a lateral movement. At the top part of the upper part of the frame there is preferably a support device which ensures reliable support when the articulator is placed in the back position and when the upper part of the frame alone is placed in the back position. <IMAGE>
