The temperature sensor is arranged with a large heat transfer surface of the conducting cable (1) and the support base. It obviates the need for any welding processes. It is used to measure temperature differences when computing the amount of heat consumed in a system. The support base is in the form of a block with four surfaces made from a material with a good thermal conductivity. The temperature measuring element (3) is inserted in a hole in the block (2) and stuck with a temperature resistant adhesive containing copper. The adhesive is in the form of a paste.
