<p>All rollers outside the working stations on the textile machine, which bear against or are within loops of the tangential drive belt, are placed at fixed intervals. Designed for operating a number of spindles or open-end spinning rotors, the layout allows the use of commercially available drive belts, without requiring a tensioning unit as the belt tension remains constant within satisfactory tolerances. A laying unit fits and tensions the tangential drive belt, as an assembly which it temporarily attached to the machine for the purpose, using mounting points. A pulling gear on the laying unit has a clamp to grip both levels of the belt. The pulling control is attached to the end of the machine near the belt deflecting roller, the belt drive roller and/or the belt path, to be locked at a fixed point on the textile machine frame.</p> |
