<p>An insulated electrical coil produced by wrapping around an electrical conductor special mica sheet treated with a coupling agent, e.g. an aminosilane or a silane monomer, to form an insulation layer of a plurality of mica sheet layers, impregnating said mica sheet layers with a solventless varnish, and curing the resulting resin impregnated into the mica sheet layers. The insulated electrical coil thus manufactured has improved dielectric breakdown strength and heat resistance.</p> |
