PURPOSE:To prevent a damper from twisting and achieve correct fitting insertion, by provisionally setting a shock absorbing rubber damper plate of a drive rod of a push button etc. formed in a center rising convex shape in relation to the fitting insertion groove of the rod, then fitting it in the groove while correcting its shape in a flat plate. CONSTITUTION:A clamper 22' catching the periphery of a rubber damper 11' toward the thickness of this damper is shifted axially along the shaft portion 13' of a drive rod 5', and the rubber damper 11 is provisionally fitted on the shaft portion 13'. If, subsequently the damper 22' is opened in its mouth and suifted inreverse direction, the catching area of the damper 22' forces the 2 edges 17', 18' of the rubber damper 11' to jump upward, causing the rubber damper 11' to be deformed in a convex shape whose center rises toward the direction of the shift by its own elasticity. Then, mutually opposing edges 17', 18' of the deformed rubber damper 11' are pressed from outside by means of a cylindrical pusher 25 until the damper is restored to the normal shape of a flat plate and the mutually opposing internal areas of these mutually opposing internal areas of these mutually opposing edges 17', 18' are engaged in grooves 15', 16' on the shaft portion 13'. |
