After the end of the top blowing, a furnace body 1 is titled to immerse the tuyere 3 into the molten steel 4, then the gas is blown through the tuyere 3. This gas may be one or more kinds of inert gases such as N2 and Ar, CO2 or O2. Thereby, the stirring of the molten steel 4 and slag 5 is accomplished. |
