PURPOSE:To increase the heating efficiency of the captioned hot water feeder by a method wherein ends of hot water pipes of a plurality of heat exchanges connected to a single water pipe in common are made to open at different valves within a hot water storage tank. CONSTITUTION:An inlet header 5 communicating with the hot water storage tank 11 through the water pipe 13 is provided below the tank 11 and fin pipes 2 and 7 are connected to the inlet header 5 on one side and to outlet headers 4 and 9 on the other, to thereby constitute a primary and a secondary heat exchangers 1 and 6, respectively. Further, vertical hot water outlet pipes 10 and 14 are connected to the outlet headers 4 and 9, respectively, in such a manner that the pipes 10 and 14 extend upward into the hot water storage tank 11 with the upper end of the pipe 14 opening at a level higher than the top end of the water pipe 13 and the upper end of the pipe 10 opening at a considerably high level in the tank. In adition, the primary heat exchanger 1 is made to confront a combustion section 29 having a burner 15 therebelow and the secondary heat exchanger 6 is arranged within a smoke duct 19 having a dew water exhaust port 28. |
