PURPOSE:To obtain a recording current waveform having good transient characteristics, with high reproducibility, by decreasing the number of parts to be used for a recording circuit for a two-terminal thin film magnetic head, reducing the interference between each part of the circuit, and the like. CONSTITUTION:A head recording circuit is constituted of a signal level transducer 9 for converting a level of two kinds of relative digital signals and outputting four kinds of signals, and a recording amplifier 4 for controlling the direction of a recording current flowing into a thin film magnetic head 5 by inputting these four kinds of signals of turning on and off four transistor TR5-TR8. In this way, since the number of elements is decreased remarkably, the interference between each part of the circuit becomes hard to occur, and furthermore, since 4 kinds of signals for controlling turn-on and off four transistors of the final recording amplifier are ouputted from the transistor of the previous stage, the delay time characteristics of signals are uniform, and the recording current waveform having the good characteristics are obtained with high reproducibility. |
