PURPOSE:To obtain an electrophotographic receptor with satisfactory film forming properties, high flexibility, high sensitivity and superior durability by forming a photosnsitive layer contg. a p-pyrrolidino-benzaldehyde-hydrazone compound as a charge transferring material. CONSTITUTION:A hydrazone compound obtd. by the reaction of p-pyrrolidino- benzaldehyde with a hydrazine compound and represented by formula 1 ( where each of R1 and R2 is optionally substituted alkyl, aralkyl or aryl, yet both of them are not alkyl) is used as a charge transferring material. On an electrically conductive support a charge generating layer such as layer contg. a disazo pigment and a binder is formed, and on the layer a charge transferring layer contg. said charge transferring material is formed to manufacture a receptor. This receptor has high sensitivity, superior durability, etc. |
