PURPOSE:Titled water ink capable of preventing nozzles from clogging and of printing in sufficient chroma and color strength, which contains sorbitol and/or isosorbide as the humectant and solubilizing agent. CONSTITUTION:The water ink for ink jet printing is composed of 0.2-15pts.wt. water-soluble dye and 1-50pts.wt. sorbitol (formulaI) and/or isosorbide (formula II) contained in water, with the addition of a mildewproofing agent (e.g sodium dehydroacetate), other humectant (e.g. alkylene glycols) and other solubilizing agent (e.g. N-methyl-2-pyrrolidone). |
