PURPOSE:To produce a strip of good flatness and improved magnetic characteristics in good yields by cutting a curled ''Sendust '' strip to suitable length, grasping this with jigs for heat treatment, and heat-treating the same. CONSTITUTION:A curled ''Sendust '' strip is cut uniformly to suitable length. The cut ''Sendust '' sheets 2 are superposed and placed in a random or aligned state on a plate-like jig 1 for heat treatment consisting of a heat resisting material. Thence, a transparent base plate 3 of glass or the like is placed on the sheets 2, and is lightly pressed, and when the curled sheets 3 are flattened by this, it is confirmed that there are no creases, distortions, etc. on the surfaces. If the creases are produce, the state of the overlapping and the like is readjusted. The base plate 3 is removed, and the sheets 2 are grasped by a jig 1' for heat treatment, thence the sheets are heat-treated for a certain time at a certain temp. |
