PURPOSE:To delete an arbitrary file and to make effective use of a bubble cassette memory, by storing the next file at the position of a deleted file. CONSTITUTION:Processed programs MD1, MD2... constitute a file Fi and they are stored in a bubble cassette memory BCM continuously. A data end block DEB is described just after the final file. One file consists of a head block BH, intermediate flock BI and final block BE. When a file Fn is deleted, files Fn+1, Fn+2..., final file Ft, and block DEB are stored sequentially from the location where the head block of the file Fn is stored. Thus, the file Fn is deleted and spaces are gathered on and after the block DEB at a bundle. |
