PURPOSE:To continuously move the member to be moved at a constant speed over a wide range, by correcting the driving signal of the continuously moving mechanism based on the extent of movement detected by the detecting means of the extent of movement. CONSTITUTION:A disk 30 is rotated at a high speed by a rotating motor 31, and an objective lense driving mechanism 33 is supported at one end of an arm 32 so that the mechanism 33 faces to the lower surface of the disk 30. The other end of the arm 32 is engaged to guide rails 36 and 37 through linear ball bearings 34 and 35 and fixes a wire 43 streched through a pulse motor 38 and pulleys 39-42. The objective lense driving mechanism 33 is intermittently moved in the direction of the diameter of the disk 30 by driving the pulse motor 38 and through the arm 32. On the other hand, a permanent magnet bar 44 is fixed at a location on the extended line in the moving direction of the arm 32, and a coil 34 is wound around the magnet bar 44 and the coil 45 is attached to the other end of the arm 32 through a support 46. In this way, when a continuously moving mechanism assenmbled in the driving mechanism together with the arm 32 makes a step movement by means of the motor 38, an electromotive force is produced in the coil 45 and the extent of movement of the continuously moving mechanism by step mevement is detected. |
