Novel thiadiazin-5-ones of the formula: (I) wherein R1 is alkyl and R2 is alkyl, cycloalkyl, alkenyl or aryl are disclosed, together with their preparation. The compounds (I) are useful intermediates in the production of insecticidal thiadiazines.
